Main tasks
Check and register accounting documents and maintain appropriate supporting documentation

Assist in General Ledger coding of invoices (ledger account, cost centers, site coding, etc) for entry to SAP financial system
Data entry of documents accurately through excel database, as applicable, to be uploaded to SAP financial system.

Supplier invoices
Expense Reports
PO/Non-PO related invoices
Accuracy of file/JE to be checked by AP Accountant prior to upload
Accuracy of amounts entered and totaled through Excel pivot table(s)

Data entry of documents accurately within SAP Financial systems directly, within required deadlines, in compliance with local/group accounting standards and other legal requirements

Supplier invoices
Expense Reports
PO/Non-PO related invoices

Maintain supporting documentation in files and in SAP, as applicable
Shared folder for Accounting
Manual files
Organize manual files/boxes to go to Iron Mountain off-site storage 
Work with AP Accountant in establishing new vendor set-up information

Data entry into New Vendor set-up excel worksheet, at least weekly
Review New Vendor excel worksheet with HR admin as well, as some of the data represented may be for new employees (ie; is all data completed in the template file for review by AP Accountant)
Review by AP Accountant who will send this information to the MDO (AP Vendor) team in IBA SA (Belgium) 
Check and execute payments (automatic, manual checks and transfers) with Staff Accounting AP:

Weekly reports for review of general ledger coding validation
Provide full Trade AP register report for review by AP accountant and Senior Staff accountant(s) for payments; this may also be required to be provided to the manager as well
Payments timely and correctly executed on weekly basis
Apply payments against Purchase orders, as necessary

Knowledge of MS Office; SAP and Excel are a plus
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Excellent time management and organization skills
