The mission of the Site Operational Excellence team is to define and optimize the recurrent activities on PT Sites (Installation and Maintenance). As the Head of Project Management team, you will be in charge of a dozen of Project Managers responsible for the delivery of projects aiming at improving the life and the efficiency of the teams working on our PT centers around the world. These improvement projects focus on increasing the service to the final customer, increasing the safety & quality of the work performed on site and increasing IBA profitability. You will manage your team and develop their Project Management skills to help them successfully deliver the changes that will improve IBA’s PT sites performance.
 
Challenges we will trust you with :

• Manage & motivate the team :
  • HR & workload aspects
  • Develop & maintain metrics on workload of PM & support functions
• Coach & develop the team on Project Management aspects
  • Put PM framework in place in the team and in the processes
  • Develop corresponding training plan
  • Follow-up PM to ensure they deliver on expectations (Time, scope, quality & budget) & follow the process + data quality
  • Report on team’s progress & achievements
• Hire missing PM

What we value
Education and Experience:

• Industrial engineer degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years’ experience of combined Project and team management.
• Experience in Industrial environment, preferably within medical device companies or highly regulated field.
• Expertise on leading and mentoring project manager.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Certification in PMI or Prince 2 processes would be considered as an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

• Possesses strong interpersonal skills applicable for coaching, clarifying and collaborating
• Advanced people management and leadership skills, with proven ability to influence at all levels and across business lines
