The Belgian, B-Corp certified company IBA has opened new ways to diagnose and fight cancer and is the global leader in the field of Proton Therapy, the most advanced technologies treatment against cancer.

Mission scope

You will join the Data Factory team at IBA, and more specifically the Advanced Analytics pole, which mission is to enable self-service analytics within the company and support the business with reports and machine learning models. As SAP data engineer & report designer, you will focus on the SAP data platform to deliver data, analytics and reporting based on SAP BW/4HANA, BO, Power BI and SAC in the future. You will support business stakeholders, from requirement gathering to solution development. More specifically you will:

• Act as a bridge between business and IT, detailing business needs and translating them into detailed technical requirements
• Implement and maintain the required changes in SAP BW/4HANA with the support of our senior SAP data engineer
• Help business with report and dashboard realization using SAP BO, Analysis for Office, SAC (in the near future) or Power BI

The team is also in charge of maintaining its own data infrastructure. You will therefore play a key role in SAP data infrastructure upgrade. In addition, you will keep up with trends in the SAP data engineering and data science space.

Must-have:

• Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA including ETL and process chains design, data modeling, query design, authorizations implementation
• Autonomous, eager to learn new technologies and not afraid of change
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer oriented, with excellent communication skills, good listener also able to defend own ideas
• Positive and reliable
• Team player
• Fluent in English (and ideally in French)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Abap programming language
• Experience working with Power BI/Azure tools in combination with SAP
• Knowledge of LSA++ methodology
• Knowledge in SAP BO Web Intelligence and Analysis for Office
• Knowledge in SAP BO Central Management Console
• Experience with SAP BW 7.5 and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience integrating SAP Success Factors data into SAP BW/4HANA
• Certification in SAP data technologies (SAP BW, HANA, BO)
