IBA Proton Therapy develops, manufactures and maintains medical devices and software solutions for oncology treatments. At IBA, our mission is to protect, enhance and save more lives!

IBA Proton Therapy is seeking an engaging, hands-on Contract Recruiter to join the team! This individual will play an instrumental part in building and scaling our business with a primary focus on engineering recruiting. From pipeline generation to closing candidates, this individual will own the entire recruitment process and candidate experience!

Challenges we will trust with
  • Sourcing strong candidates from applicant tracking system, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking, research and inbound flow for hiring top and diverse talent for our engineering functions
  • Identifying and interviewing qualified candidates, including prescreens for a substantial number of positions, and building a pipeline of strong candidates
  • Coordinating interview process with candidates and hiring managers, including scheduling, facilitating debrief sessions, identifying next steps and monitoring effectiveness of recruiting efforts
  • Working closely with IBA hiring managers to understand open positions, skills requirements, and upcoming staffing needs
  • Engaging with candidates throughout the process and proactively ensuring candidate and managers are aware of the status of the hiring process
  • Continuously improving the company’s employer brand, scale recruiting processes and systems, and contribute to the talent acquisition strategic planning process

  • You are willing to go the extra mile, potentially working long hours 

You have:
  • 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience in high-pressure environment
  • Ability to manage 15-20 open positions seamlessly 
  • Experience sourcing diverse candidates through multiple avenues (web/social/professional networks, etc.) with “out of the box” sourcing strategies
  • Experience writing and enhancing job descriptions, grabbing attention of high-quality candidates
  • Excellent people, written, oral and communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills, having a self-starter mentality and strong work ethic
  • Proven communication and follow-up skills in a highly complex technical area
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships with candidates and hiring manager
  • Ability to thrive and be able to prioritize in a constantly changing high-pressure environment 
  • The position is physically located in one of our U.S. locations with the ability to work remotely 
  • Must have a mode of transportation to and from US headquarters location 
  • No travel required 

Cherry on the cake:
  • Healthcare industry (technical, not provider based), technical engineering or medical device recruiting experience
  • Experience working in a global corporation
