As Manufacturing Manager you will be part of the MSC Industrialization Department (Manufacturing Supply Chain) and be accountable for the internal production of several IBA products and/or projects and/or equipment from assembly to ex works  in accordance with Central Planning request. You will lead Manufacturing resources (Fitters, Fitter Leaders, …) and coordinate external supports (R&D, MEO…) in order to deliver on time at quality and cost in the safest way for our people and customers. You will also be responsible for a manufacturing location: safety, lean processes (5S…), appropriate appearance (external visitors).

You will
  • Manage the short term (2 weeks) production planning: quality, processing times, delivery times, priorities and capacity
Define resources and commit to match short term manufacturing planning. On request, organize double shifts and overtimes. Ensure expected quantities of IBA products/equipment are produced, in compliance with quality (IBA and international standard requirements), costs, processing and lead times targets, safety procedures and lean processes. 
Be the Manufacturing single point of contact for related products/projects. Ensure continuous improvement of the Kpi's linked to products (cost, quality, processing and delivery times)
  • ​Manage team activities (resources in relation with COGS, tools, minor investments…)
Ensure the respect of the S&OP/ PMS (Production Master Schedule). Request support from other departments (R&D, MEO, Supply Chain…) to cope with PMS. Assign fitters (name) and external resources (physicists, TE, R&D support, MEO, transport…). Lead rigging and sending of accelerators and gantries.
  • Lead, develop and coach team members on the field
Ensure performance and development management of the team is implemented and documented; team members certified and up to date regarding the technical knowledge linked with the product; develop team member’s performance in accordance with their potential and competence framework.
  • Manage quality in production
Ensure that products are manufactured, tested, stored during manufacturing operations and packed according appropriate documentation (IBA requirements and international standards) in order to obtain the required quality and traceability level; approve and implement the production instructions; ensure team members are trained and certified versus the tasks to perform; ensure that production records are evaluated and signed by authorized person; report quality issues via Abnormality Report process.
  • Manage the manufacturing location and tools related
Implement EHS policies, lean processes (5S). Be responsible for the production tools availability (lifting equipment inspections, audits in the field of nuclear applications, preventive maintenance plan for key equipment…) and take care of local IBA interests (assets, relationships with service providers and facility owner, customer visits …).
  • Give input to Manufacturing Engineering in order to optimize and industrialize products (norms, batch processes, reviewed working methods, check lists ...)
  • Lead administration staff in support to Production
Ensure time sheets recording, production orders release, outbound creation, micro-scheduling, pool cars management, support to sites … Define and Commit on short-term planning to match macro-planning for the next 2 weeks.
