R&D Software Engineer
 
DUTIES: Provide remote and on-site software support to the Proton Therapy Operations Teams (configuration, recurrent features), and to the R&D development teams (new features).  Responsible for Proton Therapy control software integration and factory testing of new software releases.  Responsible for configuration of the software for new proton therapy projects. Deploy product releases on the installed bases (Proton Therapy Operations & Customer Service) after the handover from R&D development teams.  Lead R&D upgrade and update projects.  Participate in the entire software maintenance life cycle of problem analysis, resolution, testing, delivery, validation of multi-platform systems of complex medical equipment.
 
REQUIREMENTS: Requires Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Radiation Therapy or Oncology. Requires 3 years of experience in each of the following: Cyclotron Systems and/or Medical Accelerators; C/C++ and Java; Windows, UNIX, and Linux; PLC, VxWorks, TCP/IP, and DB.
